Central Crossing Fire Protection District Acquires New Rosenbauer Pumper/Tanker

The Central Crossing Fire Protection District is pleased to announce the recent acquisition and delivery of a new Rosenbauer pumper/tanker.
This marks the second Rosenbauer apparatus to join our fleet, underscoring our strategic commitment to continuous departmental improvement and enhanced operational readiness across our service district.
This apparatus will be designated as Engine 5 and will be assigned to Station 5 (Link to Station Map), located on Stallion Bluff Road, strategically positioned just east of the Barry/Stone County line to maximize response efficiency.
Notable features of Engine 5 include:
- A 2,000-gallon water tank capacity.
- A 1,250 GPM fire pump.
- Integrated drop tank capability.
- A Detroit Diesel 7.7L engine, providing 375 horsepower.
- Comprehensive Whelen emergency lighting.
