Course Overview
The SWMO Company Operations Day is an intensive, eight-hour hands-on training (HOT) event designed to build and reinforce core fireground competencies across engine, truck, and rescue company disciplines. Participants will rotate through scenario-based skills stations and culminate the day with live fire training scenarios in a controlled environment.
This course is uniquely designed to bridge the gap between foundational firefighter skills and initial company officer leadership competencies, making it valuable to both line personnel and those preparing for or currently serving in officer roles. The curriculum is built around real-world operational challenges common to combination career-volunteer departments in the Southwest Missouri and Arkansas border region.
